Cinnamon Café is committed to supporting many local and national charities. Unfortunately there are so many to choose from so each year we decide on the main area’s to concentrate our efforts.

This year (2011-12) we have focused on the Cancer charities, Macmillan, Thames Hospicare & the Parapet Breast Clinic. In addition as always we will be supporting our Children in Malawi, (see Mdawa Below) from World Vision, and assisting with a number of local schools.

In October following the national coffee morning, with the assistance of Doreen, Lizzy and Katie, and especially Mavis, we managed to raise a total of £700 for the Mamillan Cancer campaign. Throughout the rest of the year we will be hoping to increase this with help from our customers, through the collection tin on the counter.

As mentioned on the news page Nick removed his clothes and became Mr July for the Thames Hospicare & the Parapet Breast Clinic calendar. So far (12th Dec) we have sold through the café over 140 calendars generating over £1,400, for the charity. So please if you are in Windsor, get a Calendar.
